Sarah E.A. Sousa Elevated to Partner at Arrowood LLP

Arrowood LLP is proud to announce that Sarah E.A. Sousa has been named a partner in the firm effective January 1, 2026.

Our firm has depended on her expertise and excellent writing skills in numerous cases, and we will continue to do so.”

In her practice, Ms. Sousa handles all manner of employment claims including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, non-competition and non-solicitation, whistleblower, wage and hour disputes, and class action litigation. She has tried cases in state court and before administrative agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.

Together with Lisa Arrowood, she represented whistleblowers who filed a False Claims Act complaint on behalf of the United States and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts against Steward Health Care System, resulting in a $4.7 million settlement related to Medicare and Medicaid kickback allegations.

Among her other notable cases, Ms. Sousa served on Arrowood’s legal team in a whistleblower and defamation case whose consequential rulings were recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as one of “The Most Important Opinions of 2022.”

Honored for her legal expertise, Ms. Sousa was named a 2025 Massachusetts Super Lawyer for Employment and Labor, and was also selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for Employment and Labor from 2019 – 2024. Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly named her in 2020 as an “Up & Coming Lawyer” for Excellence in the Law.
