Lisa G. Arrowood Certified as ABA State Delegate for Massachusetts

Lisa G. Arrowood of Arrowood LLP has been certified as the 2022 Massachusetts State Delegate to the American Bar Association (ABA) House of Delegates. In her new leadership role, Ms. Arrowood will chair Massachusetts’ delegation in the House of Delegates and serve on the Nominating Committee which selects and votes on ABA officers and members of the Board of Governors. Representing all ABA member attorneys in Massachusetts, she will serve a three-year term from 2022 – 2025, beginning at the adjournment of the Association’s annual meeting in February of this year.

Ms. Arrowood is a founding partner of Arrowood LLP with more than 30 years of experience practicing law. She has been named by Best Lawyers® every year since 2002 as one of the “The Best Lawyers in America” for her work in Commercial Litigation, Medical Malpractice Law and Personal Injury Litigation. She has also been recognized as one of the “Top Ten Massachusetts Super Lawyers” by Super Lawyers every year since 2013, and named by Lawdragon as one of “The 500 Leading Lawyers in America” from 2015 to the present.

As a State Delegate to the House of Delegates, Ms. Arrowood will be a member of ABA’s legislative body which establishes and governs the Association’s policies and provides national leadership on a wide range of matters. The House of Delegates meets twice each year at ABA’s Annual Meeting and Midyear Meeting. Action taken by the House of Delegates on specific issues becomes official ABA policy.
