Jed DeWick Wins Jury Verdict for International Cyber Security Firm

10/28/2016

Jed DeWick obtained a defense verdict on behalf of an international cyber security firm on October 24, 2016 in a breach of contract action brought by the company’s former President who was seeking over $1.2 million in damages.  The plaintiff claimed that he was owed significant post-employment compensation under various agreements with the company, and brought claims for breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and violation of the Massachusetts Wage Act.  Mr. DeWick obtained a defense verdict on all claims following a four day trial in Suffolk Superior Court.  The jury deliberated less than an hour before reaching its verdict.
