An Arrowood LLP Medical Provider Whistleblower Act case continues to receive media attention, having most recently been featured in a Boston 25 News story.

The case, involving alleged gender discrimination, concerns a female radiologist who is suing her former employer, Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Susan O’Horo claims that during her tenure at BMC, she was treated differently from her male colleagues, ignored when she repeatedly raised concerns related to the technical abilities and clinical judgment of a fellow radiologist, subsequently relieved of her duties, and ultimately terminated.

Dr. O’Horo is represented by attorneys Lisa G. Arrowood and Sarah E.A. Sousa of Arrowood LLP.

Quoted in the Boston 25 News article, Ms. Arrowood said, “Instead of listening to her and following up on the issues she raised, BMC retaliated against her.”

The article details a number of alleged incidents involving patient safety errors made by the BMC physician which were reported by Dr. O’Horo while she was Director of Quality and Safety of BMC’s interventional radiology program.
