Lisa Arrowood Discusses How to Create “Practice Ready” Lawyers

01/28/2016

Lisa Arrowood’s President’s Page article published in the Boston Bar Journal: Winter 2016 Edition, “Helping to Create the “Practice Ready” Lawyer” talks about her focus as the BBA President as trying to find ways to help newly graduated, unemployed lawyers get ready for practice.  Lisa’s hope is to “help them build practical skills so they can represent regular people with regular legal needs. These are the clients who aren’t eligible for legal aid, but who still can’t afford most lawyers out there.”  She also announces the launch of “Friday Fundamentals,”which is a series of short, “how-to” trainings on specific legal issues.
