Raymond Ausrotas successfully represented a staffing company client in a noncompetition and trade secret case that has now resolved.  Several of his client’s employees had left to create a competing business, and were alleged to have used confidential information to continue to work with the client’s key customers in violation of restrictive covenants.  The client sought damages in Massachusetts state court from its former employees, the new competing staffing agency, and related defendants;  two of the defendants brought counterclaims.  Before discovery closed, Raymond Ausrotas secured a favorable settlement for his client which included an agreement for judgment in the client’s favor against the newly-created competing staffing agency in the total amount of $467,500.
