Joshua A. Brooks joined Arrowood as a Paralegal in 2018.  He focuses on document review, legal research, and pre-trial preparation pertaining to various areas of civil litigation, including business litigation and personal injury.

Josh earned his B.A. in Political Science from Hampton University and is a 2017 graduate of New England Law|Boston where he earned his J.D. with a concentration in Intellectual Property. While in law school, Josh was an active member of
Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity as well as the Black Law Students Association where he served as Vice President for the 2015-2016 school year.  Additionally, he earned the Dean’s List Honor each semester during his last two years of law school.

Josh was a Judicial Intern in Roxbury District Court after his first year, where he researched and drafted motions on various district court level criminal matters.  During the summer after his second year, Josh interned at the Committee for Public Counsel Services and the Boston Court Services Center in Suffolk Probate and Family Court.  While there, he continued working on criminal matters for indigent clients while simultaneously assisting pro se litigants in family law matters such as
child support, divorce claims, alimony, and custody battles.

A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Josh enjoys outdoor activities, community service, and traveling.
